Problem solving
Are you experiencing a problem with your website? Do a check of the following, before you contact us.
Power outages and maintenance
Consult the ITS Dashboard to see if the service you are trying to use has a power-outage or is in maintenance. Try it again once the problem has been resolved.
Empty cache
Read here about emptying your WordPress Cache or check this site for an explanation on how to do this within your browser.
Cookies removal
Use the following key combination to remove cookies from your browsers:
- Windows/Linux: Control + Shift + Delete
- Mac: Command + Shift + Delete
Or check The Consumer Association (dutch site) for a step-to-step manual per browser.
Press “Publish”
It might be that the changes that you made in the Customizer might not be showing on the front of the site, because they haven’t been published. This can easily happen when you are working in the Customizer. Always check if you have Published your changes at the top of the page.
Errors
If you have made changes and you get an error, the best way to check is to undo those changes to see if the error persists. If available, use revisions, to undo previous made changes and to set back earlier work.
If your sites keeps showing errors, without plugins having been turned on or off, then it is best to contact us.
